Agreement

By downloading or using BOSS, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use BOSS.

1. What BOSS provides

BOSS is a fictional business simulation for entertainment and learning. Game money, employees, companies, products, results, and market events are simulated. They have no cash value and are not financial, legal, employment, or business advice.

We may update, rebalance, suspend, or discontinue features. We will try to give reasonable notice when a change materially affects the service.

2. Your account

BOSS uses an account with Apple, Google, or email sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your linked sign-in methods secure. Do not share access or attempt to use another player’s account.

You may delete your account as described on the account deletion page.

3. Purchases and BOSS Club

BOSS is free to play. You can optionally buy cosmetic map style looks, as single items or bundles. These are one-time, non-consumable purchases that stay with your account and can be restored on your devices. You can also subscribe to BOSS Club, an optional auto-renewing subscription (US$4.99 per month, or the local price shown in the App Store) that lets you wear every skin, emblem, moment, theme, frame and banner while you are a member.

Every purchase and BOSS Club are looks only. They never give you game money, property, rank, rent, auction or territory advantages. Game money and property have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for real money.

How payment works

On iPhone and iPad, purchases are made through Apple’s App Store and charged to your Apple account. Our server verifies each purchase with the store before unlocking it. On Android test builds, purchases go through Google Play billing.

Auto-renewal

• BOSS Club renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price then shown.
• Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings (Apple subscription settings). On Android test builds, use Google Play subscription settings.
• If you cancel, BOSS Club stays active until the end of the period you paid for. When it lapses, Club-only looks come off; looks you bought separately stay yours.
• Deleting your BOSS account or uninstalling the app does not cancel BOSS Club. Cancel it in your store account.

Refunds

We do not issue refunds ourselves. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Google Play purchases by Google, subject to applicable law.

4. Fair use

You may not:

• Break the law or violate another person’s rights.
• Attack, overload, probe, or bypass security on BOSS or its servers.
• Use bots, exploits, or modified clients to gain unfair access.
• Reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it.
• Submit abusive, illegal, or infringing content.

We may limit or end access when reasonably necessary to protect BOSS, its players, or our legal rights.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of names, descriptions, and messages you enter. You give us a limited worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve BOSS.

In-game content may be generated with AI. It can be incorrect, repetitive, or unexpected. Report content that appears unsafe or inappropriate through Support.

6. Our content

BOSS, including its software, art, writing, brand, and game systems, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the app.

7. Disclaimers and liability

BOSS is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent allowed by law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BOSS.

Some places do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits. Those limits apply only to the extent permitted where you live.

8. Changes and governing terms

We may update these terms. We will post the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app.
